DUCKHAMS HAS OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED AT THE 2017 NEC CLASSIC MOTOR SHOW
After an absence of nearly 15 years, the much loved oil brand, made famous by its distinctive green hue, is back.
The majestic grounds of Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire, bathed in sunshine whilst playing host to an impressive array of over 1,000 Jaguar cars on Sunday, May 12. It was a record turnout for the Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club’s Summer Jaguar Festival. There was something for everyone, with enthusiasts treated to displays of Jaguars from all eras, both modern and historic. The show cars represented everything from pre-war ‘SS’ models to E-Types and rare Mark V saloons, up to the very latest factory-fresh XE, F-type and all electric I-Pace models.

Our PR Manager, Wayne Scott takes on the 2019 Exeter Trial in a TR7 V8 to put Duckhams Classic Q20W 50 to the ultimate test.
The Exeter Trial, run by the Motorcycle Club Limited (MCC) is one of the world’s oldest motorsport events and has been running since 1910, interrupted only by a couple of World Wars. There are three hundred entrants each year, almost evenly split between motorcycles and cars, all attacking the muddiest, rockiest, steepest hills you can imagine.

If your classic has a full-flow oil filter fitted (i.e. a disposable cartridge or spin-on filter as with many post -1960 vehicles), then Duckhams Classic Q 20W-50 is the mineral oil choice for your car. Duckhams Classic Q20W-50 was the period manufacturer recommendation for the vast majority classic marques. If your classic car handbook specifies a 20W-50 grade, then Duckhams is the premium choice.Purchase Classic Q20w-5010w-40 being launched in April 2019.
Vintage vehicle applications.If your car has a strainer-type filter, predominantly found on older and pre-war vehicles, and has not had a full flow, cartridge or spin-on type filter retro-fitted, then your choice is Duckhams Classic SAE 40 (for summer) or SAE 30 for winter. These low detergent monogrades are also the choice for many classic air-cooled engines such as those found on VWs. Purchase Classic SAE30 or Classic SAE40
