Take to the Road recently got invited to the 6R4.net track day at Curborough Sprint Course. One of the cars taking part was this awesome 1983 Audi Quattro Group 4 Rally Car. The owner Nick kindly gave us a passenger ride... it was epic!!!!
The car was an absolute animal!!!! Thanks to owner Nick and the team at 6R4.net for a fantastic track day!

Rare barn find Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500 goes for auction at Silverstone

Silverstone Auctions will offer a 1987 Ford Sierra RS500 Cosworth touring car homologation special from the golden era of touring car racing at the two-day Silverstone Classic Sale on 21st and 22nd July at Silverstone Circuit. The RS500 is a car linked to our British Touring Car heritage here at Duckhams and so its fantastic to see such cars, that epitomise 80s motorsport peaking real interest amongst historic car collectors.

Insights into the World Rally Championship as Louise Cook takes on the Rally Italia Sardegna

This weekend was the start of Louise Cook’s World Rally Championship campaign, on Rally Italia Sardegna based in Alghero. Louise is the only female driver in the entirety of the World Rally Championship and is a close friend of the Duckhams team.

If your classic has a full-flow oil filter fitted (i.e. a disposable cartridge or spin-on filter as with many post -1960 vehicles), then Duckhams Classic Q 20W-50 is the mineral oil choice for your car. Vintage vehicle applications.If your car has a strainer-type filter, predominantly found on older and pre-war vehicles, and has not had a full flow, cartridge or spin-on type filter retro-fitted, then your choice is Duckhams Classic SAE 40 (for summer) or SAE 30 for winter.
