Le Mans 24 Hours 2018 – Alonso takes Toyota to victory at last!

Heartbreak and tragedy had summed up the run of luck that Toyota had experienced at Le Mans over the last few years, but the grey clouds of Le Mans past finally lifted when Sebastian Buemi, Kazuki Nakajima and Fernando Alonso finally secured the win for the Japanese manufacturer at the 2018 edition of the world’s greatest motor race.

Niall Julian remembers the Duckhams brand of oil well from the 80s and 90s and even produces and old can of ours that has stayed in his family since then!
In Episode 13 of Take to the Roads Garage I finally get round to servicing Niall’s Alfa Romeo Spider S3.
It has needed an oil change since he bought the car. So he finally got to tick it off the list of jobs and Duckhams were on hand to supply oil for him to try out.

Varied Race Action on Track Enthralls Silverstone at MG Live 2018

One of the highlights of MGLive! aside form the entertainment and displays on the infield is of course is the race action on track.
Saturday kicked off with the 20th anniversary race for the MGF cup and Abingdon Trophy. Jonathan Harker lead throughout most of the race owing to the pole position starter Philip Standish retiring on the first lap with a fuel leak. Harker commented afterwards that his MGF LE500 had caused some concern in the closing stages when the cabin steamed up and he was unable to see!
