After an absence of nearly 15 years, the much loved oil brand, made famous by its distinctive green hue, is back.
We love looking back at some of our old advertisements here at Duckhams. Our motor oils have been a part of the fabric of British motoring heritage for over a century and through our many race sponsorships and partnerships with some of the most iconic manufacturers, there are many fascinating stories to tell.

Although it might feel as though we are still in the icy grip of winter, given that the UK was in snow chaos only a fortnight ago – the Easter break is upon us!

This annual prestigious awards ceremony was held at the Practical Classics Classic Car and Restoration Show at the NEC on the evening of the 24th March 2018. It was fantastic to see so many of Duckhams car club partners recognised for their superb work in ensuring the future of classic cars.

If your classic has a full-flow oil filter fitted (i.e. a disposable cartridge or spin-on filter as with many post -1960 vehicles), then Duckhams Classic Q 20W-50 is the mineral oil choice for your car. Duckhams Classic Q20W-50 was the period manufacturer recommendation for the vast majority classic marques. If your classic car handbook specifies a 20W-50 grade, then Duckhams is the premium choice.Purchase Classic Q20w-5010w-40 being launched in April 2019.
Vintage vehicle applications.If your car has a strainer-type filter, predominantly found on older and pre-war vehicles, and has not had a full flow, cartridge or spin-on type filter retro-fitted, then your choice is Duckhams Classic SAE 40 (for summer) or SAE 30 for winter. These low detergent monogrades are also the choice for many classic air-cooled engines such as those found on VWs. Purchase Classic SAE30 or Classic SAE40
